Routes from Berthoud 3,046 feet of climbing in just over 30 miles, this ride is short but sweet. Always made better by a draft at City Star Brewing after the ride in Berthoud! This route out of Bethoud offers some great climbing on both Pole Hill and Carter Lake! This route takes in a nice climb up Hwy 34 to Drake before heading back for a steeper accent up Pole Hill before climbing over Carter Lake North on the way back to Betrthoud. Climb up Hwy 7 to Peak to Peak Hwy and return to Berthoud. Climb through Glen Haven, west of Loveland, to Devil's Gulch and the switchbacks before summiting and then descending into Estes Park. Then Climb out of Estes and descend into Lyons before returning to Berthoud. This is a flatter route from Berthoud to Kersey out on the plains of Weld County. Beautiful route north through Loveland, Masonville and over Horsetooth reservoir rollers before regrouping in Bellview. Then the steady climb up and over the steep summit and switchbacks up Rist. Now riders are rewarded with the long downhill called Stove Prarie to Masonville and back to Berthoud. Leaving Berthoud and rolling through Loveland and Masonville on the way over Horstooth Reservoir to Bellvue, where the climbing begins up Rist canyon. Nice roll out back to a small but steep climb over Carter Lake on the way back to B-Town. Century ride in Larimer, Boulder and Ward counties. Relatively flat for Front Range Centuries and especially for Peak to Peak Cycling!
