Routes from Boulder Head out of North Boulder and climb up Flagstaff to the Amphitheater. OFcourse, there is always the option for continuing up Super Flag and over the backside to Gross Reservoir. The options for road biking in Boulder are truly endless! Inspired by Jade, this is a great progressive climb with options to bail 😉 Boulder area climbing. Named Clair's stage after its' founder....Claire! This is a great midweek or off-season training ride on both Lee Hill and Old Stage road. The out and back nature of the route provides not only great climbing, but built in recovery between climbs as well. Climbing three of the Boulder Classics while posting 3,300 vertical in 35 miles. Be prepared for some dirt and lots of climbing on this route out of Boulder! Great route up to the P2P Hwy from North Boulder. Bring your climbing legs and cameras, as this route ends west P2P at them gorgeous Branaird Lake, before rewarding cyclists with a long descent back to town. Over 7,000 feet of climbing in the Boulder Foothills, this one has been coined the "Leg Breaker" Especially when attempted early in the season! This was P2P's largest group ride to date and aptly named by Stan: "The Boulder Classics!" For those wanting a more challenging way to get to Ward from North Boulder, here you go! A route from Rocky Mountain Cycling Club (RMCC), taking cyclists through Lyons, Berthoud and Hygiene. Head North out of Boulder to Carter Lake and back. Another RMCC Challenge Series ride, this on is not for the faint of heart! Cyclist completing the entire route are certainly worthy of recognition and possibly a few miles of recovery to make in an epic century ride! Big ride with big miles, thanks to Chris B. for this one!
